October Favorites 2016

Hello All!
October has flown by! It was full of spooks and laughs, and while I'm sad to see it go, I am welcoming November with open arms. I thought I would share what I have been loving this month! I hope you enjoy it!

Sweater
This sweater is one of my favorite pieces and I have been wearing it a lot. I got it at LF a month or two ago and I fell in love! I love a loose, roll down turtleneck and this one is absolutely perfect. It's super cute with the black and white tones, and goes with literally everything! It's also cropped which means I can layer it with high waisted jeans and skirts for extra warmth but still a cute look.

NARS Duo Eye shadow - Isolode
This is my go to eye shadow. I am such a sucker for golds, and this eye shadow is the cream of the crop when it comes to shimmery gold eye shadows. Although it is my go to, I used it a lot more this month as October is when it really feels like fall in NorCal. We actually got a lot of rain and chilly weather and the leaves were all falling
.

Pumpkin Spice Latte
Let me explain first, that when I talk about the Pumpkin Latte I am talking about the hot Peet's Pumpkin Latte. I know I am the epitome of a basic girl but let me just say I fell in love with this drink. Last year, I tried Starbucks  PSL and just wasn't that big of a fan, however with this latte, the balance between the pumpkin and coffee is just so perfect and I love it so much.

TT - Twice
Last year, I fell in love with Twice. (My bias is Momo!) They are all so pretty and their most recent comeback was so good. TT is so catchy and the music video is very well-produced. Also the styling is so great. The mini-album is awesome too. My favorite songs are TT, Jelly Jelly, Next Page, and One in a Million. I reccomend this to anyone who's into light bubblegum pop music

Stranger Things
The show that rocked the summer, was really impressive I must say. Netflix really outdid themselves. Honestly, it's so well written and directed that I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. It was great to watch this during October which is the spooky month, so it was definitely a fun experience!

PPAP
Am I allowed to put this? Like it's a meme but honestly it's one of my favorite things, its so funny and cute and I love dancing to it, and seeing others imitate it. It just makes me happy and it's something I really love so I decided to put it on here.

So those were my favorites, what are yours? Let me know! Also let me know if you like these kinds of posts. :)

October Reads

Hello all! I have been trying to read more recently as I love to do it, but as I have grown older, I have found it harder to find time to read. However, I was able to read some more this month and I figured I would share my favorite reads from last month. Let me know if you like these kinds of posts!

NASTY GALAXY - Sophia Amoruso
Last year I read Girl Boss, and fell absolutely in love with it. Amoruso's down-to-earth tone makes it feel like I'm getting advice from a friend. Nasty Galaxy certainly lived up to that tone, with features on girl bosses, horoscopes, song lyrics, life advice and more. It's pretty image heavy, but the books so diverse  it adds to it in an amazing way.

The Thousandth Floor -Katharine McGee
The Thousandth Floor is such an beautiful book, I love the black and gold theme it has. This book is set in the future and covers the lives of different characters, each with different secrets, but they are linked. The book starts off a little slow, but as you get more into it, it becomes more fast-paced.

Luckiest Girl Alive - Jessica Knoll
This book is officially one of my favorites, it goes over the story of Ani, who's high school past haunts her in her present day job. She is successful, beautiful and engaged to the perfect man it seems, but as her past haunts her, she is forced to reflect. This book was so easy to follow, I loved it and the development we see the main character go through.

A Halloween Look

I had many looks I wanted to go for this year for Halloween, and I was having quite the dilemma. So for my friends Halloween party I decided to combine two costumes in one this year! I dressed up as Chanel #2 and I gave myself a moon/star child look on my face. I did glitter roots and stuck some stickers on my face. I had so much fun, and I think it's cool to go out of the norm with your costumes. If you have two costumes you really like, and don't have time to wear both of them then try to combine them, although obviously you cannot combine certain thing. (Zombie Britney Spears from Baby One More Time: YES! Harley Quinn and a hot dog: Maybe not...) Overall, don't let your creativity stop just because you don't have enough time to wear both,

Adventures in the City Part Deux

I went on another adventure, as you can see above! It was different from the last one. One of my friends go to college in the city, and we got to visit her dorm, while I was with my other friend. (They're both pictured above) We went from Japan town, to Chestnut street, and by the end of the day, almost missed our ferry back. (We did, thankfully but only after some serious sprinting)  It was so fun though and I really enjoyed it! Again, I recommend to go on adventures with friends, get out of your comfort zone, and just laugh.Life is short, live it to the fullest. I don't know why I got to so inspirational that was very cringe, I apologize. Anyways, adventures are fun! Everyone should go on more!

Rainy Days

Rainy days in California are a strange thing. Because we're in the drought, there is something special, almost magical with the rain falling down from the gray sky. I love this outfit because it is absolutely perfect, with mix of the tan and black. I basically live in black if you can't tell already, but overall I'm just super in love with fall, and rainy days. What's your favorite part of rainy days or fall? Do you like rainy days or autumn more?
